UNIT 6

BOOK REVIEW:

Romeo and Juliet

I read a book called “Romeo and Juliet” it’s a thriller by William Shakespeare, It's a lovely story, full of hope and love, I think it's a story that should be read necessarily, because it is very educated and can expand much knowledge and feelings.
The history take place in Italy and Paris, the main characters are Romeo Montesco who is in love of Rosaline, goes to a party in an effort to forget or to ease his broken heart. At this party he met Juliet, and immediately fell in love of Juliet, and Juliet Capuleto, who is the Capuleto´s daughter. The Montesco and Capuletto are the two main families of Verona, of a great lineage, but have a great rivalry between them, the reasons are unknown.
Romeo fell in love of Juliet quickly and one day they married with the help of Fray Lawrence.
I really recommended this novel cause is really interesting, the story goes beyond the impossible love of Romeo and Juliet, the value of friendship, death; many factors must be understood in history.

UNIT 8

A LETTER OF COMPLAINT

Dear Editor.

I´m writing to express my concern an advert which appeared on page 70 of your magazine last week. I found it untruthful.
The advert, which is about an anti-hair –loss treatment called Hirsute home, which revitalize the hair naturally. However it contains a photograph of a young men about 30 with too much hair, and the advert doesn’t show the hair`s men before, in which we can see the changes, the men doesn’t seem to have any hair-loss problem and he has a perfect hair.

Also, the advert uses false information to sell the product; the advert says the product is safe and natural. The shampoo is enriched with a pure extract from the milk of the afghan woolly buffalo and it contains Japanese willow moss, however I think the shampoo probably can be a little dangerous because it is based on consumers self-evaluation test of 50 adult men and I don’t think that number of people are enough, for other people who want to use the product.

I am a regular reader of your magazine and I found it really interesting. Although, I would be thankful if you remove your misleading advert for other more appropriated, and I think you have to be more carefully about these adverts in the future.

Yours faithfully,
Evelyn Patiño.
